About
Valyu was founded at University College London's (UCL) Computer Science Department by researchers and academics.
Between us, we’ve co-founded data and ML companies, shipped large-scale retrieval systems, worked on federated learning, and helped design infrastructure for startups, enterprises, and even governments. We’ve been deep in the weeds of messy data, training runs, broken pipelines, and distributed systems that shouldn’t have worked but somehow did. We like building ambitious things, especially when they’re technically interesting, useful, and fun to use.
